Maybe some of you wonder if the exploration of Terra Ultima is to continue and will result in new testimonial art. Well, I’m happy to confirm this. At the moment, I’m processing and drawing testimonials of the new discoveries made during my last expedition.

From Wednesday, the 18th of January until Sunday, the 22nd of January, my Terra Ultima work will be shown at the For Real art fair in Amsterdam, Gallery Untitled, stand 4.

For the first time the finished original painting of the Poseidon’s Gorillrus will be shown here.

If you’ve missed this fair, there is still a chance to meet the Gorillrus eye to eye at the Contemporary Artfair in Rotterdam and the Affordable Artfair in Brussels.

For more than 6 months, Deleo prepared a third expedition to Terra Ultima. Two weeks ago he left and now the first findings arrive by sea mail. It will take months to examine, evaluated and elaborate all findings and discoveries. But it already appears to be a fruitful journey with a lot of astonishing newly discovered species.

The watercolour painting “Tree”, made during the artist in residence project “Boeddha in de Linie”, was transported this weekend to Amsterdam and now decorates the inside of a beautiful home in the capital city. The artwork was framed in a handmade frame by Ike van Wageningen.
