I will show work made for several projects, including The Moussiah, Terra Ultima, Volkskrant Fairytales, That Damn Day. Large and small works, framed and unframed, originals and prints.
Just to enjoy but, if you are interested, also for sale.

In addition, the work of five other participating artists can be viewed in the building.
These artists are Sander Buijk, Danielle Hefter, Eugenie Schardijn, Jan van de Pavert and Liesbeth van Ginneken.

Opening of Terra Ultima art show.

Last Saturday was the opening of the Terra Ultima exhibition in the Museum of Natural History in Rotterdam. Museum director Kees Moeliker gave a great and funny speech (unfortunately, Redmond O’Hanlon was sick).
The event was very wel attended. It was so crowded people had to take shifts to visit the van Roonzaal. While waiting people could have a drink at the Dead Animal Bar, or buy a limited edition print in the giftshop of the Museum.

The exhibition will run until the 7th of January, 2018.

Redmond O’Hanlon opens Terra Ultima exhibition.

On Saturday, September 16th, British adventurer and writer Redmond O’Hanlon will open the Terra Ultima exhibition of Raoul Deleo in the Museum of Natural History in Rotterdam.

O’Hanlon has become known for his journeys into some of the most remote jungles of the world (Borneo, the Amazon basin and Congo). He also has written a harrowing account of a trip to the North Atlantic on a trawler.

In the Netherlands, Redmond O’Hanlon was a guest and co-presenter on the program the Beagle: In Darwin’s wake, made for VPRO Television. For the same broadcasting organization another series was made in which he introduces the viewer to his heroes of the nineteenth century. The program was called O’Hanlons helden (O’Hanlon’s heroes) and was awarded with the prestigious Dutch television award ‘De Zilveren Nipkowschijf’.

At this moment the preparations are in full swing.
Sending invitations, framing the artworks ( StarFrame did a great job! ), arranging and designing a layout for the space and walls in the salon.
The exhibition will open Saturday the 16th of September 2017.
