For a weekly column, entitled ‘Wonderolie’ (Eng. Castor oil), in a Dutch newspaper, Deleo designed a series of pictograms depicting all kinds of physical discomforts. The column ran for three years. In the column, written by general practitioner Aart Gisolf, a wide variety of remedies, folk medicine and family recipes were described.
