Since his graduation as an illustrator in 1993 Deleo frequently designed the covers of the “VPRO-gids”, a weekly magazine about Dutch television. The freedom given by the editor and art directors (Piet Schreuders, Gitima van der Putten) resulted often in unusual imagery.
